How long does it take to implement Financials?

It all depends on your business needs. It is best to speak with us about this but as a general rule of thumb, here are a few scenarios you may want to consider: 

With the Lite edition, we have pre-loaded a standard set of Chart of Accounts and posting groups. Simply add your customers, items, and vendors and start using the application.

With the Standard edition, set up may take anywhere from 1 to 3 months.

With the Premium edition, set up may take up to 6 months to complete.

There are many factors to consider when implementing a new solution for your business:
  • How much time and resources are you willing to allocate to the task?
  • How many functions do you want to configure for your business?
  • Is there anything else that could cause a delay in completing the project, such as employee or public holidays?
  • Do you have specific customisation or integration requirements?
  • How simple or complicated are your business processes and software requirements? 
From our experience we would always recommend our customers to set up the software using its ‘out-of-the-box’ best practice features. Many customers will insist on setting up the software differently from standard functionality. Not only can this add to the overall time and cost of the configuration, but more often than not, hindsight tells them that they should have stuck with what came as standard in the solution.

Therefore we highly recommend using Financials features as they are, and learn the application and then configure it over time if necessary. It may challenge the way you and your staff manage and run the business but Financials offers a robust and best practice approach to running a business designed to help you provide amazing customer experiences.
